Nintendo's Big Plans For Nintendo Switch Revealed Before Its Release

Great news for Nintendo Switch fans who will attend the PAX South event this weekend. The attending public will be able to get their hands on the hyped up console at the said event which will be held in San Antonio, Texas.

Since its announcement, only a few press folks were able to try the Nintendo Switch earlier this month. But that will change soon enough. Prior to the Switch's release on March 3, 2017, Nintendo plans on giving the public a detailed look at the console.

The company has revealed its plans for their upcoming booth at the PAX South show this weekend. According to Nintendo, its booth will include a variety of games. Fans can drop by at Nintendo's "interactive booth" and play games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2 Switch, Snipperclips: Cut It Out!, ARMS, Super Bomberman R, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Ultra Street Fighter II.

However, that's not all the Nintendo booth can offer. Its main stage will provide the audience some hands-on time with all of the games mentioned above. Reports suggest there will also be some "creative environments" in which the audience can see the practicality of the Switch.

The "creative environments" will include a small plane set where the travel-based style play can be experimented with. It will also have a living room which will show the convenience of Nintendo Switch.

Doug Bowser, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Nintendo of America, said in a statement, "We absolutely love bringing our games and systems directly to the fans, and PAX South is a great venue to do just that." He also added, "PAX South will be one of the first opportunities for the fans to try out Nintendo Switch before it launches on March 3rd."

As of now, Nintendo has yet to reveal how many kiosks it will have. However, it is more than likely the booth will have a continuous line all weekend long. For all Nintendo and Nintendo Switch fans near the area, be sure to drop by Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center from January 27th to 29th for the PAX South event.
