The toymaker Mattel launched its first smart baby monitor, Aristotle. The baby's monitoring device interacts with a toddler or kid. This smart device has amazing features such as reading bedtime stories, soothe infants back to sleep, help buy a diaper and teach toddlers foreign words.

The virtual assistant Aristotle is consists of an HD camera and a voice-controlled conical tower. It comes with a light in different colors and like the size of a lava lamp. It holds a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi speaker that responds to spoken commands.

The device is powered by Qualcomm processors and Microsoft programming that helps collect crib side data and responds to a baby's needs. The smart device can be programmed to launch into a lullaby mode, emit white noise or turn on a nightlight to soothe a waking baby back to sleep.  It comes with a monitor that sends data on nap times and diaper changes to a corresponding smartphone app with the permission to upload in the cloud.

It will use a 256-bit encryption to keep information private. It also uses Microsoft Cognitive Services for its artificial intelligence. The interior of the smart device looks like a candle with a red speaker grill. Equipped with a Snapdragon 212 processor that allows it to process commands and make power to its different system.

Mattel's smart device for baby comes with built-in developmental guessing games. The virtual voice will make an animal noise games and simple vocabulary lessons. It also flashes green for every correct answer and red for mistake answer.

The virtual voice features two modes to select from. The Parent Mode which let parents order more baby supplies. It is capable of letting adults customize how the device will interact with their kids. For the Child Mode, it grows with kids too. This mode allows users to track sleeping habits and feeding time. It also offers stories, sing-along, and early learning aids.

Mattel is using language interactions naturally and the internet technologies to create a cloud-connected platform for toddler's nursery. Aristotle is expected to be released in June and with a price tag of around $300.
