World's Fastest Four-Seat Car Continental Supersports, The Quickest Bentley Ever Made

The Continental Supersports is not only the fastest car in the world with a speed of 209 mph, but is it also the quickest four-seat car Bentley ever made. It is all the courtesy of new turbochargers which help the 6-liter W12 engine spool out 700-horsepower.

According to Forbes, Bentley’s second generation W12 is in super sports form but it now only delivers staggering horsepower to quickly push this car to its top speed but also 750 lb.-ft of torque between 2050 rpm for acceleration to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. This is impressive for a 6063-lb coupe which is fully 0.3 seconds quicker than a standard Continental W12. At the max speed of 209 mph, this Supersports can cover the length of a football field every second.

The power feeds through an 8-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive system. Some people think that the gearbox will be quick yet also shock-free and smooth. With this kind of acceleration numbers, this Supersports bites at the heels of Lamborghini Huracans and leaves a Porsche Carrera 4S one full second behind. The carbon-ceramic brakes are a must for this Supersports car. Up front, they measure 16.53-in while at the rear they measure 14.01-in.

Being lightweight is the key to the supersport’s speed, iTech Post Reported. The weight is significantly helping this family car to produce such speed. The carbon fiber fittings are used in the exterior panels while the large carbon ceramic brakes, lightweight forged allow wheels and the titanium exhaust system to make the car power to weight the ratio idea. The new air-cooling, conrads, bearing and the better turbocharger are adding to the re-engineered W12 engine to make the Supersports the faster of all of them.

Also, Bentley retained its luxury style without compromising the performance of the car. Bentley kept the styling of the interior with its unique tri-color Alcantara leather. The buyers will get the chance to get a checkered carbon fiber fascia instead of its traditional wooder veneer. The one of a kind steering wheel and gear will shift lever are also trimmed in Alcantara leather.
