The 2017 Lexus GS 200t Review: Fuel Economy Luxury Sedan With A Price Tag That Won’t Break Your Wallet

The 2017 Lexus GS 200t is the perfect luxury sedan for those unwilling to break their wallets. This refreshed vehicle and the entry-level adaptation of the Lexus GS range has been fitted with a new turbocharged engine and an above-average fuel economy feature.

This five-seat midsize sedan is available in rear-drive configuration. Meanwhile, the GS 350 has the all-wheel drive. This unit was made to compete with the likes of BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the Audi A6.

The 2017 Lexus GS 200t has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine that gives it some performance when it comes to fuel economy. The luxury sedan's engine creates a 241 horsepower and a 258 lb-ft of torque. Also, it is a standard that vehicle to be equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ suite of active safety features, as reported by MotorTrend

When it comes to the car's technology, it is equipped with an infotainment system with Bluetooth, smartphone app, a navigation system, 12-inch display screen, and 12 speakers.

For consumers looking for more speed, Lexus also offers an alternative version to the GS Turbo, the F Sport. It comes with 19-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspensions, a trunk lid spoiler, and a host of other features. Also, an upgraded interior leather and power sport seats are also part of the Lexus variant. Of course, a $7670 is added on top of the sedan's price, allowing the F Sport to have a 311 hp and a V-6 engine.

The 2017 Lexus GS 200t offers a sub-$50,000 price tag with a solid and pleasant package that is able to impress masses. The vehicle has smooth driving and its acceleration is sufficient.
