Another report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo regarding the possible outcome of Apple's 2017 iPhones. The changes Kuo specifically mention pertains to the current ID Touch System used by today's iPhones.

According to Kuo's report, he predicts that Apple's possible changes will outline improvement on the current 3D Touch ID Technology. The said implementation is to complement the full screen, zero bezel design factor.

Addition to the said changes, this year's iPhones might incorporate flexible OLED panel together with a specific metal structure to prevent it from deforming. Kuo also believed that there is a huge possibility of phasing out the Touch ID Technology.

It is amazing to see how Apple move forward towards technological advancements. But, incorporating the facial recognition system has some technical challenges to overcome. According to Kuo, facial recognition includes Algorithms, hardware design, and built-out database for verification and authentication.

These challenges are time-consuming to overcome. The Verge specifically mentioned that Apple should combine a two-steps bio-recognition as a valid solution for transaction security enhancement. Other reported addition to Apple's improvement are the fixed flex, and group facetime calls.

Apple is alleged to start production in March 2017 which is different to the typical September release schedule. According to Apple Insider, 60M - 70M million units are estimated to be shipped globally for 2017. The output is expected to increase by months of May and June.

There are a lot of rumors regarding Apple's new flagship, and some are not correlating to each other. Truly, there will be constant talk about the new iPhones, but fans should take it with a grain of salt since there is no certainty at this point.
