Android One Coming To The US And Why It's An Important Move

Google first introduced the Android One smartphone to emerging markets such as those in Asia as it considered these markets to have individuals who had difficulty getting a decent working smartphone. Now Android One is making its way to the United States and for a very important reason.

Android One in the US. The Nexus was Google's first attempt at controlling the Android experience. It proceeded with introducing the Pixel and Pixel XL years later. It plans to further widen the Android experience by finally bringing over the Android One to the United States.

The Android One is the first take on an Android phone for the budget-conscious. It is easy on the pocket yet is packed with all the necessary functions and features. With the Android One finally being in the US, Google will be able to provide a full-on Android experience backed by Google 100 per cent.

The tech market is very competitive, especially in the United States. Bringing in Android One to the US would open an opportunity for manufacturers to help produce the phone and share the costs very much like the production of Nexus. Android One will allow manufacturers to create self-branded devices with the promise of full support in terms of software functionality and features.

The opportunity is technically being able to take advantage of the large footprint of demand that Google has. This particular demand is a growing demand as interest in Apple's iPhone is slowly declining.

The tech giant promises to provide reliable and timely updates in terms of security patches and operating system releases. This is to ensure that the tech giant will be able to accommodate the demand as more users will be using the Android operating system.

It is unknown how much the Android One will retail in the US once available or who the phone manufacturers involved are. Android One phone manufacturers in Asia currently include MyPhone and Cherry Mobile.
