Huawei To Unveil The P10 At Mobile World Congress 2017

Huawei P9 was a massive and critical success for the Chinese mobile device manufacturer and they're most likely gearing up for another. Speculations say that company is due to announce the P10 at the Mobile World Congress.

The Huawei P10 Android smartphone. There have been a few leaked photos of what seems to be the back cover of the P10. For several months, news and speculations of the P10's specs and features have surfaced on the internet.

The P9 is an awesome smartphone with features that include high-definition dual cameras with guidance from camera manufacturer Leica, impressive performance, amazing battery life, and a fast fingerprint scanner. Everyone is hoping for the P10 to be as equally impressive as the P9 or even more.

It looks like tech enthusiasts will soon find out more about the P10 smartphone officially. The Chinese tech giant has begun sending out invitations to the Mobile World Congress. The invitation says that Huawei will be unveiling their new flagship mobile device with CEO Richard Yu personally presenting it.

An executive from Huawei had allegedly confirmed that they expect to ship the smartphone by the end of the first quarter of 2017 or at the start of the fourth quarter. Traditionally, Huawei's releases have been done in April.

It is speculated that the P10 will feature a bigger display with a 5.5-inch display with QHD resolution. It is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat and a new Huawei 2.3GHz Kirin 960 processor, a more powerful processor than what's on the P9. The P10's processor is said to rival that of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 which will be used in smartphones from competitors. Other features the Huawei P10 will have is 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

All these speculations are expected to be put to rest at the Mobile World Congress next month. The MWC will take place in Barcelona, Spain starting on February 26, 2017.
