Nintendo Switch News: Customizing Preferred Joy Cons, YES; Netflix And Other Streaming Apps, NO!

Games, Prices, and Console's portability are the information Nintendo has revealed regarding Nintendo Switch. So far, the operating system and subsidiary functions are still inadequate. Today, Nintendo announced no Netflix or other streaming application support for Nintendo Switch.

According to a blog post by Kotaku, Nintendo will not integrate Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming platforms for Nintendo Switch. The company wants to make sure that the switch will be a dedicated video game platform. But, Nintendo considers the said idea for future updates.

Also, there is a possibility that Nintendo will apply Wii and Wii U controllers for future updates. Nintendo also added that Mii Maker tool is available in Switch and can be used for creating avatars that can be used during games. Changing profile picture is also added to the list of features.

There are still questions yet unanswered by Nintendo. Considering the fact that the console will be released March 3, the case is a bit alarming. Nonetheless, future discussions and announcements will be provided by the company via their website or other social media platforms.

In other news, a report claims that the Joy Cons can be customized depending on the gamer's preferred color. As seen in two main events, the Joy Cons are color gray/black and red/light blue. In Japan, Nintendo Switch fans can customize their Joy Cons to either gray/black and red/light blue. They can choose whether the grip is red or blue, or mix match black and red or blue Joy Cons. Other Joy Con colors might be available in the future.

Interested buyers can simply go to the Nintendo Website, choose their preferred Joy Con design, and wait until it gets delivered. This promotion is only available in Japan, there is no news whether Nintendo of America or Europe will incorporate such plan.
