Take A Peek On 2017 Nissan Qashqai Refresh! Great Surprises And A Major Facelift For The New SUV Prototype

Nissan is all prep to give car enthusiasts some pleasant surprises from its new Nissan Qashqai crossover. Reports say the vehicle is getting a major facelift and will sport the latest autonomous technology too. Spy photos are also circulating the web now.

The new SUV prototype has been spotted on the road and it seems that the front and rear aspects are getting some refresh. AutoExpress caught the crossover with a masking on its front and rear parts and displayed several snapshots on this link.

The new Nissan Qashqai is expected to have a makeover on its front and back bumpers. The new vehicle is also anticipated to sport new designs on the grilles and lighting features. The publication mentioned that the new car might have a similar look with the Qashqai Premium Concept which was spotted at last year's Geneva Motor Show.

The report also claims that the heads from Nissan has told them that the new Nissan Qashqai will also benefit from the latest autonomous technology. The new SUV will allegedly include a semi-autonomous technology as one of the major upgrades of the vehicle. The refreshed vehicle will run with Piloted Drive autonomous technology version 1.0. This will enable the new vehicle to operate on autonomous driving during heavy traffic.

Furthermore, the head of advanced product strategy Richard Candler told the publication that the technology version 1.0 will support proper steering, acceleration and halting systems. The technology will be beneficial for the erratic traffic congestion.

Also, Candler boasts that the best part of the refresh is the fact that it would be light on the budget too. Nissan wants the new vehicle to be accessible to many and so they are promising it will be released with a reasonable price.

In another report, Autocar detailed that the Nissan Qashqai's technology is called Propilot autonomous tech which makes a single-lane autonomy. This technology will initially operate on a single-lane but will eventually allow multi-lane autonomy in the future. This feature acts like a blind spot assist, automatic parking and monitoring of surrounding view.
