LG Press Event Invitations Now Out. Which Device Would You Want To See Its Debut?

The LG press event is now in order. The tech giant has already distributed invitations for its upcoming event at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 set on Feb. 26 at 12:00 P.M. local time (6:00 AM ET) in Barcelona. Which new flagship are you hoping to see in this press event?

This year's save the date carries the slogan "See More, Play More" printed on a long, thin rectangular form which seems like a wallpaper on a handset-shaped invite. LG seems to continue its slogan from last year as fans can recall that the company's 2016 press event was themed, "Play Begins."

The slogan sounds like it is teasing on a device with a bigger screen to allow users to see more and a powerful technology which will allow gamers to play more. Both characteristics point to the successor of LG G5, the anticipated LG G6. The former was launched at the press event last year, so it is likely that this year's press event will be a good avenue to launch its successor.

LG has released a statement claiming that the upcoming LG G6 will have more efficient battery life to avoid overheating and explosion. The company will use a technology advancement where a small heat pipe will be installed in the new smartphone to provide the necessary cooling, India Today reported.

It remains to be seen on what could possibly debut in the upcoming MWC 2017 from LG. The tech giant continues to keep the suspense going as the press invite did not specify the potential new flagship that will be introduced in the event. Some speculated a huge flat screen TV, while majority predicted on the launch of LG G6.

Tech geeks are now anxious to know the latest flagships that LG would unveil in the event. Whatever it would be, LG seems to promise something that fans would celebrate on as the invite design also contains festive fireworks. CNET has posted a copy of the invite which you can view on this link.
