Finally, after months of waiting, the Android 7.0 Nougat updated is finally available to regular users of Samsung's most famous smartphones today - the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The upgrade has already been live in some countries such as Europe and China.

Reports say other regions such as the United States and more are expected to follow suit soon. The Android 7.0 Nougat combine Google's latest software improvement with some of TouchWiz design.

Some of the update's biggest changes can be found in the notification tray. It was reported that the "Quick Panel" interface look cleaner and crisp. The titles are removed from each icon.

For easier sorting, notifications have also been bundled. It also supports direct replies for more convenience. A "pop-up window" mode is also part of the upgrade. This allows users to run up to five apps all at once.

Combine that with the regular split-screen mode, a maximum of seven apps at a time can now be run by users. Another cool new feature is the Samsung Pass. It's a fingerprint-activated key used for website logins.

The Android 7.0 Nougat updated for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge also helps save battery life with its new Performance Mode. This mode lets users activate different battery saving options including Optimized Mode which improve the phone's stamina and speed.

An 'Entertainment Mode' will also be a part of the Performance Mode which helps boost sound and image quality while watching movies and videos. Aside from the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung revealed they will also roll out the Android 7.0 update to a number of its devices.

Some of the device listed are the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3, and Galaxy A8. Samsung revealed that the Android 7.0 Nougat update will be available to these devices "within the first half of the year".
