2018 Ford Mustang Review: New Powerful Features And Sleeker Design Makes It The Best Ever Sports Coupe

Ford has unveiled the new look and powerful features of the 2018 Mustang. Check below some details why you will crave for this new Mustang.

The 2018 Ford Mustang sports the latest 10-speed automatic transmission, which has upgraded the standard six-speed stick. It also comes with two overdrive gears and a first gear which is shorter. These new gears were designed to improve acceleration and economize fuel. The fourth gear has also been changed to a direct drive now.

Interestingly, one can spot the Mustang logo marked on one of the buttons located on the steering wheel. This special button plays the role of a shortcut for launch control, Track Apps, and the line lock function of the car.

Furthermore, the new Mustang comes with a sleeker design of having a lowered nose. Also, the new headlights of 2018 Mustang have captured the eyes of the guests too. The design carries an illusion of small air entering behind the headlights.

The 2018 Mustang is expected to have a slim rearview mirror which will no longer have frames. Car enthusiasts may recognize a similarity in the rearview mirror of the Chevrolet Camaro, Fox News has noted.

In another report, Ford officials have shared that their goal for the 2018 Mustang is to maintain the line to be the best-selling sports coupe not just in America but in the whole world as well. They also emphasized that the 2018 Mustang is their "best ever."

The two from the three engines of Mustang have been upgraded. The company has completely reworked the engines by having a mixed of both the port-injection and direct-injection on the V-8.

Ford also boasts of another upgrade to the new Mustang. To achieve improved wide-open-throttle acceleration, the automaker has modified the over boost system for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine.

Meanwhile, Ford took another big leap with the newest feature of the new Mustang. For the first time in the history, Ford is featuring an optional MagneRide suspension. This is another milestone in technology where it utilizes magnetically sensitive fluids which can prevent the stiffness of the shocks of the new Mustang, NBC News reported.
