Samsung Galaxy S3 Receives Battery Boost With New Mophie Juice Pack, Doubles Battery Life (VIDEO)

Samsung Galaxy S3 users can now achieve a longer battery life thanks to the new mophie juice pack that is now available for purchase. The protective case is expected to double the smartphone's battery life, making things a little easier for Samsung users, even if the case is a little bulky.

The device comes equipped with a 2300mAh rechargeable battery according to the company's website, which offers an increase on the phone's integrating battery life span. The device is designed to extend talk time up to over 9 hours for S3 users on a single charge, while also offering a slim protective case to help prevent the phone from breaking in case of an accident.

"We are motivated to engineer new battery solutions for both the Apple and Android communities," said Ross Howe, mophie's Vice President of Marketing to Trusted Reviews. "We're excited to empower Galaxy S III users to do more with their device without having to worry about running out of battery or having to take a time-out to recharge at a wall outlet."

The power pack company has successfully made similar devices for Apple in the past and recently specialists from the company confirmed the launch of the first Android handset produced by the company to be made available for the Galaxy S3.

The latest line of mophie devices can offer an additional 8 hours of video, 11 hours of internet time, and 32 hours of audio playback according to Trusted Reviews. The device also comes with a 4 LED battery status indicator.

As mentioned though, the battery pack can be a bit bulky which could turn off some users since the Galaxy S3 is already pretty large compared to other phones like different iPhone devices available such as the iPhone 4S or 5.

Expect to pay at least $100 for the Juice Pack, which comes equipped with a micro-USB cable as well.
