Felipe Massa Officially Returns To Formula One

After months from announcing his retirement in Formula One, Felipe Massa has made an exciting U-turn and now is back on the track with Williams. Massa also stated that he has never lost any desires when it comes to racing.

 Meanwhile, Nico Rosberg beats Lewis Hamilton in the world title before announcing his shocking retirement on the scene with Mercedes. Bottas then made the switch decision and finally became the face and front runner for Mercedes. It was then Williams was looking for an experienced driver for the team.
 
It was remembered last November that Massa was addressing his goodbyes to the grove team, sports and fans during the season-ending in Abu Dhabi GP. Now that the 35-year-old Brazilian car racer is back, he agreed to be paired with the 18-year-old Canadian racer Lance Stroll this year following Valtteri Bottas moving to Mercedes. These were announced and confirmed by Williams.
 
During an interview, Massa said that he always have a passion for racing and competing. He then explained his side of his comeback as not just about Formula One being the best option but is about his role in Williams that he consider as the best option for him. He also added that he would not have returned if it was for another team.
 
Massa, 250 Grand Prix Events veteran has started his Formula One career together with Sauber and spent eight years with Ferrari before going with Williams in 2014. The racer had a total of 41 podium finishes and 11 victories.
 
According to Claire Williams, the principal of Williams deputy team, "Felipe has always been a much-loved member of the Williams family, and having the great opportunity to work with him again is something we all look forward to." and added that, the veteran racer's decision in coming back to the race track with the team has provided experience, stability, and talent that supports the team in leading forward. Williams always considers Massa as their great asset.
