Here Are The Biggest And Complete Announcements In The Nintendo Switch Live Presentation

No more predictions, Nintendo has finally released its biggest console the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo's President together with hardware and software producers, and third-party game developers discussed Nintendo Switch details.

Nintendo Switch will launch March 3, 2017, with a suggested price of $299.99. It will be packed with amazing features such as multiplayer system and online service. Also, Kimishima announced that Region Locking will not be a part of Nintendo Switch. The Switch can be pre-ordered in Japan starting January 21st.

Shinya Takahashi, Nintendo's General Manager of Entertainment Planning and Development Division discussed the beauty of the Nintendo Switch hardware. The Nintendo Switch will have different gaming modes such as the TV mode, tabletop mode, handheld mode. Takahashi also stressed that Nintendo Switch can be played for 2 ½ - 6 ½ hours. Also, charging while playing is allowed via AC adapter and multiplayer battles via WIFI connection.

The most interesting part of the presentation is the introduction of the Joy Cons. In fact, two new game titles were introduced for the Switch's Joy Cons named 1-2 Switch and ARMS. The Joy Cons will exhibit powerful sensors via HD Rumble Technology, and slick design with the wrist strap and colored Joy Cons.

The most exciting announcement were the game titles for Nintendo Switch. Although majority of the titles revealed during the presentation leaked, it still added up to hype train. So far Nintendo has confirmed Splatoon 2 (Summer 2017), Super Mario Odyssey (Holiday 2017), Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Fire Emblem Warriors.

Nintendo also assured that 80 more game titles are currently in development for Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, third-party developers also announced support and game titles prepared for Nintendo Switch.

Square Enix confirms Dragon Quest 10 and 11 which is to be released in Japan and Dragon Quest 1 and 2 for Nintendo Switch. Project Octapath Traveler and a new title from Atlas was also announced during the event.

Sega and Suda51 confirm titles for Nintendo Switch, but no specific details were given during the event. Meanwhile, Bethesda has confirmed all speculations to be true that Skyrim is coming to Switch. EA Games also confirmed more titles for Switch and announced a custom built FIFA game for the console. The highlight of the event is Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being the official launch title for Nintendo Switch.
