Here's How The 2017 Ford GT Digital Cockpit Looks And Works [VIDEO]

Although it was revealed two years ago, the 2017 Ford GT still hides a lot of details. But, gradually the supersport is showing more of its details. This time, the American automaker released a series of images and videos regarding the digital cockpit of the car. Watch how it looks and works here.

The new Ford GT is said to be one of Ford's newest treasures and slowly, the brand is revealing more details about it. Just weeks ago, details about its production as well as elements to be used in the car have been published. Now people get to see what the driver of a Ford GT sees as Ford invites viewers inside the new GT with its recently published video of its digital dashboard.

The 2017 Ford GT digital cockpit is simple yet elegant and as shown in the video, the maximum performance of the GT might be around 216 mph, according to Automobilemag. The information was captured in a 10-inch screen where the 5 modes of the GT will be displayed.

The digital dashboard is designed to battle Audi's popular cockpit and with its new look, it will probably succeed. Also, according to Ford, the new GT will not be the only model that will use this all-digital dashboard. Therefore, it is to be expected that future cars of the brand will also be equipped with such technology, including the Ford Focus, according to AutoBlog.

The driving modes of the car can be selected via steering wheel controls. In Normal mode, the dashboard displays the speedometer in the center, the gear indicator on the right, and the fuel level and temperature on the upper left.

Wet mode uses a blue theme and a "wet floor" concept, with graphics under the speedometer that simulate the wet asphalt's brightness. In the Sport, there is the gear indicator in the center and the speedometer on the right. The Track has a red theme and black background, with more visible texts and graphics. Finally, the V-Max mode is exclusive, with a huge speedometer in the center of the panel, fuel level in the upper left and the coolant temperature, oil pressure and temperature and turbo pressure on the right.

The 2017 Ford GT will have a 3.5-liter V6 engine with over 600 horsepower. It will have a spectacular design and tuning. It will be priced at around $400,000 and Ford only intends to manufacture 250 units per year. Watch GT's digital dashboard at the video below.
