2018 Genesis G80 Sport Coming To Detroit; Luxury Sedan Set To Impress

The luxury sports sedan 2018 Genesis G80 Sport has just been presented at the Detroit Motor Show 2017. The 2018 Genesis G80 Sport, which was presented last year in its regular version, debuted with a new V6 3.3 - liter turbocharged engine and a long list of exclusive modifications that emphasized its sporty character.

About a year ago, Korean manufacturer Hyundai decided to create its own luxury vehicle division, something similar to what Toyota launched with Lexus, Nissan with Infiniti and Honda with Acura three decades ago. In a very short time, the Genesis division has managed to position itself well among the prestigious brands in the United States. With three models already in the market, the G90, the G80 and the G80 Sport; it is expected to even go bigger with the presentation of the 2018 Genesis G80 Sport.

This new 2018 Genesis G80 Sport is aesthetically distinguished from the regular model by cosmetic elements, including exclusive wheels of 19 inches with details in carbon fiber. In the cabin, the seats lined in leather and the sports-style steering wheel stood out. Genesis indicated that they have optimized the dynamism of this luxury saloon and the suspension allows a very advanced dynamic with great comfort.

The 2018 Genesis G80 Sport will be available with two engines: A 3.3 - liter V6 turbocharged and naturally aspirated V8. The 3.3T V6 is an engine that uses twin turbo technology to deliver 370 hp and is associated with an automatic gearbox eight-speed, according to CarScoops.

The second one, the Genesis G80 Sport V8, uses a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with 420 horsepower. It has a smoother and softer propulsion than the turbocharged propellant. It is the top model of the range and is created for those who want a more refined mechanism, according to AutomoBlog.

The 2018 Genesis G80 Sport will feature the most advanced security technology and cutting edge communication and entertainment. The safety equipment includes systems such as emergency braking with passer-by detection, lane change alert, and 360-vision cameras to aid in any maneuver. The 2018 Genesis G80 Sport will be on sale in Spring and details on its price will be announced soon.
