iPhone 8 Leaks: Specs, Release Date, Price And Other News

With the iPhone 7's disappointing performance, consumers are very excited for the iPhone 8. There hasn't been any official word from Apple on what the iPhone 8 has got to offer except for a few leaks and speculations here and there.

What will Apple's iPhone offer in 2017? 2017 marks the tenth year anniversary of the iPhone since Steve Jobs unveiled it in 2007. The iPhone 7 was quite a disappointment in 2016 which makes this year an even more important year for Apple to get back right on track.

What will the new iPhone look like? There have been speculations that say that Apple is working on three variants of its next iPhone. The current iPhone has 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display variants so a third variant could be in between those and will most likely be a 5-inch display. The iPhone 8 will probably feature a curved display given how successful Samsung's Galaxy Edge series has been. Apart from a curved display, it may do away with its classic home button altogether and feature TouchID in its place.

What are its specs? Leaks concerning the specs of the next iPhone say that it will probably have a dual camera, a high-definition screen, and a memory of up to 3GB. Storage is likely to remain the same with the current variants. Apart from these, the next iPhone could very well be an energy-efficient one with longer lasting battery life.

Will it be named the iPhone 8? The name iPhone 8 won't probably be the name of the next generation iPhone. The 6s came after the 6 which makes a 7s a possible name for the next iPhone.

When will it be released? Apple has been religiously releasing new iPhone generations every September so consumers should expect the next-generation iPhone to be released in September of 2017. However, since 2017 is an important year for the tech giant, it could release the new iPhone in June just like the first-generation iPhone.
