2017 Subaru Forester Review: A Ride Of Comfort And Other Wonderful Features

The 2017 Subaru Forester looks to be a useful crossover with a lot of room, a beautiful view, and amazing utility. Standard models have a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a 6.2-inch touchscreen.

The 2017 Subaru Forester. The new compact crossover from Subaru may have a boxy aesthetic but it offers a lot of space. Unlike its more sleek rivals, the 2017 Subaru Forester requires no compromises to a sloping roofline or an angled hatch.

The new Forester comes with an all-wheel drive, just like its predecessors. Anyone can get the optional EyeSight safety system that includes automated emergency breaking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.

The 2017 Subaru Foresters comes in six levels, namely the 2.5i 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 2.0 XT Premium, 2.5i Touring and the 2.0 XT Touring. The 2.0XT versions have a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine with 250 horsepower. The 2.5i models have a standard six-speed manual transmission while the others have a continuous variable transmission. 2017 EPA fuel economy ratings for the CVT-equipped models all rise to 26 miles per gallon in city driving and 32 on the highway from 24 and 31 respectively.

What's new with the 2017 Subaru Forester? The exterior to the new Forester now has a new grille, front fascia, and headlight design. Its taillights are now powered by LEDs.

The optional EyeSight system gets you windshield-header-mounted cameras which now have a better field of vision. In addition, you get automatic high beam headlights and reverse automatic breaking which stops the vehicle when it detects a crash about to happen while backing up.

The new Subaru Forester makes good on its promise as a comfortable ride with an elevated seating position, all-wheel drive, and cutting-edge safety technology. The 2017 Subaru Forester price depends on the model you prefer but ranges from US$23,000 to US$35,000. Although there may be better compact crossovers out there, the 2017 Subaru Forester's pricing and features is one good combination you should consider.
