The Ford Autonomous Car which revolutionized driving will soon exhibit no steering, no pedaling, and no human driving. The Ford Autonomous Car is whole new ball game in the automotive industry. But, based on the headline, the Ford Autonomous will no be for sale in the public hands, instead exclusively for hailing companies like Lyft or Uber.

This year's CES, Ford explained that the autonomous car will be in production and will be ready to hit the road by 2021. The Ford autonomous car will be controlled by a fleet operator to clean, fuel, and update them says Colm Boran, Ford autonomous car manager.

The Ford autonomous car will not be fully electric instead it will be a petro-electric hybrid model. According to Boran, the Hybrid petrol-electric provides more electrical power. The autonomous car will only run at certain zones meaning those areas where 3D mapping is already sorted and completed.

The Ford autonomous car includes six radars, seven cameras, two laser cameras, and high-grade inertial sensors. It will have built-in 3D map and a GPS antenna. The map created for Ford autonomous car is specially built with human and computer algorithms to precisely spot buildings, cyclist, and much more.

The cameras will be so powerful that it exceeds more than a human eye can see. Ford established stereo cameras in order to make sense of things for Ford autonomous car. It will be a 360-degree view even in bad weather and zero visibility. But, Baron warned that torrential storms or monsoon weather could affect the vehicle's usefulness.

Although Baron assured that the Ford autonomous car is operated by a fleet. Therefore, safety will be then a top priority. "Being responsible for the overall system engineering, it's one of the things that helps me sleep better at night is knowing that these things are owned by a fleet, and not by a bunch of yahoos that might say 'let's go see what it can do now," says Baron.
