Google To Release Samsung 10 Tablet, LG Nexus 4 Smartphone This Month?

Google has announced they will be holding a product event showcase next Monday, leaving many people to wonder what exactly the search-engine company has in store this time.

The biggest announcement expected by Google at the event includes the introduction of their newest Android system which will be called Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Devices that will be used on the new Android could also be showcased as well such as a potential new parental control support system and multi-user support system.

It is believed that the new Samsung 10 inch tablet will also be showcased for the first time in an effort to rival the ever popular Apple iPad. The rumored tablet, with the code-name Manta, would supposedly have a better resolution than the new iPad with 300 pixels per inch compared to 264 PPI according to CNET.

Another rumored device includes the new LG Nexus 4 smartphone. The phone will have a "quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 4.7-in. display with 1280 x 768 resolution" according to Computer World.

Expect the phone to also have 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel rear camera, all of which are upgrades for the new series. It is expected to run off of the Android 4.2 operating system according to Web Pro News.

The phone is expected to sell at around $300.

A revamped Nexus 7 is expected to be announced at the event as well. The device will come with a 7-inch screen again but this time will include HSPA + 3G connectivity to get customers online when they aren't in locations that have a WiFi connection. The device is expected to have an internal storage increase up to 32 GB this time as well according to Digitial Spy.

Google has not commented on any of the speculated rumors as of yet.

The company has been sending out invitations to the event with a colorful background and simple message which states: "The playground is open."

It is believed the company feels pressured to introduce new products this month because Apple will be holding yet another event this year on Oct. 23. The company is expected to debut the revolutionary iPad mini tablet at the event.

The Oct. 29 event will be held in New York City at 10 a.m.
