Microsoft Surface Phone Images Leaked: Get To Know More About Its Design and Massive Camera

Images of Microsoft's Surface Phone have been revealed just recently. Photos of the Surface Phone show a massive camera and design elements based off the Lumia series.

Microsoft Surface Phone. The Surface Phone has been pegged as the ultimate smartphone that a user will ever need. It has been speculated that Microsoft had started working on the Surface Phone since stopping the production of their Lumia series of smartphones.

The leaked images of the Microsoft Surface Phone show a smartphone with a massive round camera hump at the back with a Carl Zeiss tag. The phone seems to be more like a phablet and shows the Surface Phone branding.

The Surface Phone, as it appears on the leaked images, is a slim brick-like device with a white cover on the back. There are single-grille speakers at the top and bottom. Below the display is Microsoft's trademark Windows logo while above it is Microsoft's branding with the front-facing camera to its left.

Three keys are featured on the right side which could possibly by the volume up, volume down, and power buttons. An additional key is speculated to be a dedicated camera shutter button. A 3.5mm audio jack is at the top while a Type-C USB post is at the bottom.

There are speculations that the leaked images are that of a canceled Intel SoC-based Surface Phone. Further speculations state that the Surface Phone will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 and the Windows 10 OS.

Microsoft is busy working and perfecting the Surface Phone and even started a trial production run to test it out for a possible release in 2017. According to Microsoft, it is not aiming to launch a passable smartphone but is instead focusing on smartphones that are genuinely exciting to use.

Although the images appear authentic, no official word has come from Microsoft yet. The images and speculated information on the Surface Phone should be taken with caution and users are advised to wait while development on the Surface Phone unfolds.
