2018 Ford Tourneo Courier Spotted Doing Cold-Testing in Sweden; New Facelift and Redesigned Bumpers Anticipated

The 2018 Ford Tourneo Courier was spotted testing in cold weather at the roads of Northern Sweden. This facelifted new version will come loaded with new features, both in aesthetic and equipment. It will also have important changes in the engine range.

Since the middle of last October, spy photographers had managed to take a first look at the 2018 Ford Tourneo Courier. Ford engineers have been working on the expected facelift for a while, according to AutoEvolution. Now, eyewitness reports said the new Tourneo Courier is in its early stages of development facing the harsh Swedish winter.

The hunted unit of the 2018 Ford Tourneo Courier was refueling at a gas station in the country, and it was reported to sport camouflage on its front. One can't notice any visible changes, however. It's only logical since it was reported that there will be many aesthetic changes to be made in that place.

Looking at the spy photos of 2018 Ford Tourneo Courier, the headlights and the grille seem identical to the ones on the current car but the major changes that will be made on the current design correspond to redesigned bumpers and a new optical group. Ford will also improve the standard equipment while introducing new technological and safety elements to make the Tourneo Courier even more up to date according to Carscoops.

For the moment we do not have any information that points to any changes in the engine of the 2018 Ford Tourneo Courier. However, if Ford wants to do it, it will be the ideal time to introduce new options. Currently the Ford Tourneo Courier can be configured with both a 1.5-liter engine TDCi 75-hp or 95-hp as well as by a 1.0-liter engine with 100-hp EcoBoost .

The 2018 Ford Tourneo Courier is highly anticipated because its load capacity as well as spacious passenger compartment make this an ideal vehicle for the transport of passengers or for families who need a model that combines all these skills for day to day. But as earlier stated, it is still on its early stages of development and might be available in dealerships in 2018. Stay tuned for more details.
