New Tesla Model X Features Holiday Showdown; Model X Owners Given Code To Start Performance [VIDEO]

The new Tesla Model X brings the spirit of Christmas to car owners by providing a holiday showdown complete with falcon wings flapping simultaneously, multi-colored lights from the Easter Eggs and a rendition by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra of "Wizards in Winter." The performance can be activated by pressing the Tesla logo and entering a special code.

The holiday-themed showdown may not make the New Tesla Model X much better than other cars but it serves as proof of how easily this powerful car can be converted into a computer device. The instructions on how to start the show were tweeted to New Tesla Model X owners by none other than Tesla's founder, Elon Musk. The action shows how this car company was able to compete with giants in the car industry, according to Mashable.

Tesla has been known to deliver delightful Easter Eggs to car owners for several months now. The Christmas-themed spectacle, however, can only come from New Tesla Model X cars that updated their software to version 8.0.2.50.15, which means that those who want to have the same holiday theme can just upgrade their software. One has to keep in mind the need to activate the show after putting oneself at a considerable distance from the car to prevent getting hit by the flapping falcon wings, according to Auto Blog.

It can be recalled that last April, the New Tesla Model X featured a huge Easter Egg that showed Mario Kart of the cart-racing video game developed by Nintendo. In February, an Easter Egg was known to replace the Tesla S logo with a submarine named Lotus Esprit, which was seen as James Bond's submarine in the movie "The Spy Who Loved Me," according to BGR.

As the New Year approaches, New Tesla Model X owners are feeling excited to see what Easter Eggs will arrive to welcome 2017.
