Mini NES Stocks Now Available At GameStop And Meijer; Will There Be Enough Until Christmas Day? [VIDEO]

Nintendo fans that have been waiting for the Mini NES consoles to arrive can now get one at Game Stop and Meijer as stocks have just arrived. The Mini NES went out of stock as Christmas shoppers flocked to the stores to get one for themselves or as a Christmas gift for loved ones. The shortage came after Nintendo produced the gaming console in small quantities.

Mini NES console became the trending topic after it was released last November. People who grew up with Nintendo scurried to get one in order to spend the holidays playing their favorite gam,e but it went out of stock after just a few days. With the console not available online, people came hunting for it, according to Mobile & Apps.

There were rumors that the shortage was not due to low supply but high demand but because Nintendo intentionally limited the number of Mini NES consoles that it made. The Mini NES console was sold at Best Buy, but after a few days, was all sold out. This caused customers to start hunting for one, making the Mini NES the hottest item this Christmas, according to Forbes.

However, stocks became available in Meijer and in GameStop, but the quantity is so small that it might only last for a day. People interested in buying a Mini NES this Christmas have to personally visit the store.

After the stocks arrived on Dec. 21, GameStop and Meijer posted a notice on its website that interested customers only have one day to contact the store. The console contains 30 popular games such as Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Mega Man 2 and Kirby's Adventure, according to iTech Post.

With the popularity of the Mini NES returning, lots of people are looking forward to Nintendo making more of it. There is a big chance that the desire to own a Nintendo Console will continue, and people will be buying it long after the Christmas Season.
