2017 BMW 6 Series Gets More Options And Exclusive Features Ahead Of Detroit Auto Show Debut

The 2017 BMW 6 Series has been renewed with minor changes to its Coupe, Grand Coupe and Convertible range ahead of its debut at the Detroit Auto Show. From now on, the model has more equipment and exclusivity with accessories that were previously only available on its older brother, the BMW M6.

While we were all expecting a new generation of the 2017 BMW 6 Series, fans are screaming in delight after the presentation of the impressive new generation of the BMW 5 Series, which is already doing well in the market. But this week, BMW announced that the new generation of the 6 Series will be delayed, and instead, the brand just offered a few styling changes, improved equipment and more customization options for the owners.

The most notable change to the 2017 BMW 6 Series is the addition of the striking Sonic Speed Blue Metallic color, available for the first time ever, as reported by CarListIn the customization department, the 2017 BMW 6 Series offers much that you can choose from, both inside and out.

The M-Sport package is also available for the coupe, grand coupe and convertible range where one can decorate the wheels with 20-inch, double-spoke wheels. There's also the option to highlight the interior with new spikes in carbon fiber, according to PerformanceDrive.

As standard, all 2017 BMW 6 Series will come with Dakota leather, power adjustable steering column and an updated infotainment system. There will also be no change to the engine range. The mechanics previously available, a 235kW turbo inline six-petrol engine, 330kW twin-turbo V8 and a 230kW inline six diesel, remain the same.

The price of the 2017 BMW 6 Series is still unknown, but it will not be surprising if it remains in the same price range. This new 6 Series will also be available in dealerships soon after the Detroit Auto Show.
