2017 Ford GT Leaves Production Line, See First Factory Photos Here

It's already here! The first unit of 2017 Ford GT has left the production line and will be delivered to the lucky owner soon. Ford intends to produce about 1,000 copies after the huge demand it has generated in the market, with one unit per day to be manufactured. See first factory photos here.

According to an official statement of the brand, the first copies of the 2017 Ford GT are destined for a very special customer and have been assembled in the Canadian factory in Markham, Ontario. It confirmed that the Ford GT has already left production lines. To commemorate the event, Ford made a small event in the factory, which Raj Nair, executive vice president of the brand, attended.

Nair couldn't contain his happiness and, as reported by AutoWeek, said that they achieved their goals for the 2017 Ford GT. He said that when 2016 started, they had two main goals for their 2017 Ford GT: to excel at Le Mans, and to start deliveries before the end of the year. They got both.

The 2017 Ford GT will be manufactured in a special section of Multimatic factory in Markham, Canada, and not in Ford's own factory. This is where all the units destined to clients will be manufactured. They will be assembled by hand, as you can see in the pictures in the video below, where each of the 2017 Ford GT cars go through a series of boxes or stations in various stages of manufacturing. The production rate is about 250 copies per year or about one per day, according to AutoBlog.

The first production 2017 Ford GT sports a stunning black color, with tires in the same hue. A more vibrant touch of orange is found on the stripes, which cross the body from end to end, the brake calipers, and interior touches. The brand has not revealed some of the most important data about the model, such as its power, which officially remains more than 600 hp and therefore is the most powerful V6 EcoBoost and double turbo ever developed by the brand, or its performance and price.

These 2017 Ford GT will be immediately delivered to their customers, so we hope to soon know the other details of the model. Check out the 2017 Ford GT below.
