Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible With Insane 850 Hp Now Up For Sale

A special Porsche 911 Turbo S convertible with insane 850hp is now up for sale, thanks to world renowned Solingen-based tuner Wimmer. The Porsche 911 Turbo S convertible is now faster and stronger than ever and has an awesome paint job as well. Check it out on the video below.

Described as the ultimate everyday supercar, the Porsche 911 Turbo S name is not only the Porsche's fastest street legal and mass-produced car today: It also ranks amongst the fastest accelerating cars on the planet. This is for both the coupe and Porsche 911 Turbo S convertible version. One would think that this car can't get any better.

However, there are still tuners that believe that it is not powerful or fast enough, and therefore, turned it into a beast. This is what Wimmer did to the Porsche 911 Turbo S convertible, now with 840 hp, this missile ground-to-ground is capable of reaching 200 km/h from zero in 8.4 seconds. These figures now stay close to the records obtained by the mighty Bugatti Veyron, according to Carscoops.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible for sale is built on the basis of the first version of the 991 Turbo S, the one that was originally equipped with an engine with 560 hp (version 2016 reaches 580 hp). Wimmer then installed two large turbochargers, changed the pistons, connecting rods, fuel pump, intake and exhaust and other specifics. Now, it reaches no less than 840 hp and 860 Nm of torque.

This enhancement kit is priced at $60,000, an amount that does not include the value of the vehicle or the other new elements in this unit. It would add another $6,000 for a set of springs and dampers KW and another $7,000 to strengthen the direct-shift gearbox PDK to hold the wild engine, as reported by CarBuzz.

If one would want to pay for the whole Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible, it will reach a huge sum of $330,000. Dealerships are selling the recently facelifted 911 Turbo S Cabrio from around $170,000 and this huge sum can hinder some buyers from taking the bait. However, this price is justified by the changes that have been made for the occasion, especially because the mechanical section of the this Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible has undergone major changes that allow it to achieve an impressive performance.
