2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class To Get Hot AMG E50 Version, Watch Spy Video Here

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class Coupe is increasingly closer to becoming a reality, but until that time comes, we are continuing to slowly reveal its details with a new batch of spy shots of the possible AMG E50 version that could be included in its range. Check out the spy shots here.

Following the presentation of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class four-door body, the Estate with family body and the All-Terrain that impressed at the Paris Motor Show, it is expected to debut the coupe variant and the cabriolet version in a couple of months and reach the market in late 2017. As evidence, leaked commercial catalogs and spy shots of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class Coupe in its AMG range surfaced on the internet.

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class Coupe will be incorporating an AMG model for the first time in the history of this model. Until now, they had never decided to develop an AMG version, which is only reserved for Mercedes Class C cars, to stand up to the BMW M4 or Audi RS5, according to Caradvice.

But things will change. The 2017 Mercedes E Class Coupe would have a Mercedes-AMG 4Matic version E 50 Coupe with six-cylinder supercharged 400 hp and 500 nm of torque, according to MotorAuthority. What we do not know yet is whether it will have a version with the powerful block 4.0 V8 biturbo Mercedes-AMG E 63 4Matic that can stand up on equal terms to models like the BMW M6 Coupé.

The AMG range of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class is said to receive the name Mercedes-AMG 4Matic Coupé E 50 and is expected to debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show to be held in March. The spy video below is added to a long list of spy photos that emerged that shows the front having a virtually identical design to that of the sedan. However, its slender line that ends in an elegant and stylish rear separate the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E Class Coupe AMG to its brother.
