2017 Lamborghini Aventador S to Challenge Other Supercars; Will The Aventador S Reign As The King Of Supercars?

The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S, the latest addition to the Aventador line of Lamborghini, will join the race for supercar supremacy in 2017 with its enhanced look and speed. Slated to be launched in January next year, this flagship carrier of Lamborghini is expected to challenge the top supercars built prior to its arrival.

Rumored to be one of the fastest cars ever made, the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S will have its first run at the Ricardo Tormo Formula 1 Track, according to International Business Times. The engine will be given more power, as the 691bhp produced by the 6,498cc V-12 engine will be increased to 759bhp. The usual 2.9 seconds needed to reach 0-100 kmph and the maximum speed of 350kmph will also go up as the engine has been made with more power.

The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S will be around 62bhp more powerful than the 2011 version, which was powered by a 690bhp engine. Aside from increase in speed, the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S will sport a new look, with a honeycomb vent at the bottom and a new exhaust exit housed in an aggressive-looking diffuser around the back, according to Auto Express. These new features are believed to make it more powerful than other supercars.

It can be recalled that the Aventador car models were first made in 2011, and since then, the style and looks have remained the same. This is one reason why a refreshed look is expected with the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S.

Invitations to the launching of the Lamborghini Aventador S were sent out, but no picture of the supercar accompanied the invitation. However, the text on the invitation was enough to conjure an image of a newly designed and super powerful car, according to Auto Car.

With the release of the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S, a new challenge is presented to other supercar makers. However, with all the twists and tweaks it has undergone, there is a big chance that this supercar will outperform the rest.
