BMW ReachNow Car Sharing Service Makes Car Renting Convenient; Is It the Most Economical Way to Drive?Video

BMW ReachNow car sharing service, launched in Portland Oregon last September 19 of this year, brought convenience to Portlanders who prefer to rent a car instead of driving their own. Just recently, BMW REeach Now announced an increase in the number of cars servicing the Seattle and Portland allowing access to areas beyond the city.

BMW ReachNow added 180 more new BMWs to its Seattle fleet while 100 new vehicles were added to the Portland fleet, according to Geekwire. The new vehicles added composed mostly of BMW i3 cars, BMW 3 series, and the MINI Cooper. To get a BMW car, customers can use the ReachNow app and get a car in no time at all, making it easier and faster to drive from point of origin to point of destination.

In order to avail of the BMW ReachNow car sharing service, customers need to sign up for membership. No membership fees are charged; instead, customers are charged based on pay per use starting price of $0.41 per minute. Life time membership can be had at $39 one-time payment and pay-per-use will be $0.49 per minute. When parked, the charge is $0.30 per minute. The fees include insurance, fuel, public parking fees and taxes, according to BMW Group.

For people who prefer to save more, promo codes for the BMW ReachNow car sharing program can be had from many accredited stores in the area covered by the program. These promo codes can unlock discounts of up to 50% of the total charges for the use of the car. For those who want to use promo codes, checking the expiry date is important because the codes cannot be used anymore once expired, according to Promo Code 2016

With the BMW ReachNow program, people in Portland will be able to enjoy a fast and smooth drive even if they do not own a car.
