F1 News: Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo Eyed By Mercedes, Red Bull Says Hands Off As They Are Ready To Get The Title Next Year

In F1 news, Mercedes continue to find a replacement for 2016 F1 world champion Nico Rosberg. Red Bull racers Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo is now being eye but Red Bull is quick to reply and says hands off as they are ready to get the title next year.

Red Bull finishes second to Mercedes on this year's F1 race and without Rosberg, they can possibly get the F1 crown in 2017, that is, if Verstappen or Ricciardo will not be tempted to switch teams. From the looks of it and as reported by various F1 news such as GivemeSport, both drivers politely declined the offer and believe that their current team can stand up to Mercedes and do not need to change teams for the title.

Daniel Ricciardo had released stataments in some F1 news site stating that Nico Rosberg's successor will have the best Christmas as being part of the Mercedes team is such an honor, but it is not for him. Ricciardo recognized the importance of joining the German team but insisted that he is on a long term contract with Red Bull and switching teams hasnt come up on his mind.

Max Verstappen, on the other hand claims that Red Bull will have a suitable car to beat Mercedes in 2017 F1 and thus he will continue competing in Red Bull next year. He told F1 news site that aside from his contract, he is confident on his team. Verstappen's father even added that he understands Rosberg's decision to retire as it is always been his goal to get the championship so when he got it, he then needs a break. He said he shares Mercedes sentiment but he's son is good at Red Bull and wouldnt change teams.

According to F1 news of Mirror Red Bull has shut down any offer as soon as possible. Both drivers have qualities to be among the greats of the F1 sports in the years ahead. Verstappen has completed a brilliant first season at Red Bull and Ricciardo has one of the most consistent performance.
