A spectactular Tesla Model S convertible concept was presented by RainPrisk, a popular automotive design company in the United States. And although it s just a digital rendering and nothing is official yet, the result is very attractive and tempting. For its design creation, RainPrisk has been inspired by the latest 'facelift' of the Model , so it retains the same front, but lost the doors and rear and, not surprisingly being a convertible, the roof. Aside from the modifications associated with the open top, it looks like the front fascia is really the only modification for the Tesla Model S Convertible concept. Surely, this design would not have any problems in finding buyers.
A Tesla Model S convertible design will certainly create a challenge for Tesla’s Autopilot team since the latest hardware suite includes sensors in the B-pillars according to Elektrek. However, fans had been requesting for this for a while now and when made into reality, will redeem the forgotten Tesla Roadster.
Tesla may at some point find a successor for the Tesla Roadster, but would probably be totally different from the Tesla Model S Convertible version. However, one can always let their imagination free like Rainprisk's rendering which can be seen at AutoEvolution. For now, Elon Musk's company is involved in the launch of its new Autopilot 8.1 updated and the Tesla Model 3, which should arrive next year.
The Tesla Model 3 is a compact sedan, 100% electric, which aims to rival the traditional premium sedans like the BMW 3 Series or Audi A4.
