A Comprehensive Look On The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet is well-known for producing some of the world's highest-powered muscle cars, as well as reliable SUVs and trucks. But this year, Chevrolet is not fooling around with the new 2017 Camaro and its renditions: the Camaro 1LE and the Camaro ZL1. They also released a 50th anniversary model, which can be purchase this year exclusively.

The Camaro 1LE package can go with either the Camaro V6's 3.6-liter V-6 or the Camaro SS's 6.2-liter V-8. Basically, it is a track package; but it offers so much more. Consider it as a complete fusion of performance parts for the Camaro, with high-powered ZL1 parts flowing to SS 1LE and SS parts flowing to V6 1LE.

Performance-wise, the Camaro ZL1 is the choice to be. It features the well-known supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, which can also be found in the Cadillac CTS-V and the Corvette Z06. It sets an incredible 640 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque as well, 60 horsepower greater than its fifth-generation predecessor. Moreover, the ZL1 offers a 10-speed automatic transmission, which is said to be 200 pounds lighter --- thanks to the Camaro Alpha platform's tight framework.

Regular Camaro models were also released. It comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4, which delivers 275 hp and 295 lb-ft. On top of this is a 3.6-liter V-6, which is good for 335 hp and 284 lb-ft. Further up is the SS with a 6.2-liter V-8, which is good for 455 hp and 455 lb-ft. It comes with a standard 6-speed manual, as well as a 6-speed automatic. Consumers can pick between a convertible and coupe body style.
