Volkswagen's 2016 Golf SportWagen Over Mazda's 2017 CX3: 'Wagon Vs Crossover' Road Test Comparison

Recent tests were done to compare the capabilities of Volkswagen's 2016 Golf SportWagen versus Mazda's 2017 CX3 on the road.

The Wagon vs Crossover road test shows a few good insights for car enthusiasts when choosing a vehicle between a wagon-type or a crossover variant automobile, according to WN's blog post. Thorough assessments on the road were done as well, to prove which of these two car models' specifications have a better offering.

Now, what do we need to know about the outcome of Wagon vs Crossover's road test?

Mazda's 2017 CX3, also known as a subcompact crossover, appears to be a wagon-like vehicle. Whereas, Volkswagen Golf Sportswagen looks more refined and appealing.

CX3 gives us gibberish-free features such as allowing users to make adjustments on the car seats manually or by hand. Its car key responsibly triggers the actual conduction when either starting or stopping the vehicle. There is nothing significant about its stick shift with 5 forward gears and clutch designed on the floor. However, its stick-and-clutch seems to meet the preference of car enthusiasts looking for vehicles that operate on variable transmission.

On the other hand, SportWagen offers attributes that deserve to get a second-look. Its dashboard looks well-organized and striking; its cockpit pretty much seems polished and sophisticated; and its pull-over trunk cover provides security on stuff you may want to put inside. Its back seat is spacious as well, according to a blog post on ForbesColors to choose from include black or beige for S and SE trims and two-tone black and gray or all-black for SEL trims. Another interesting thing is its 30.4 cubic feet cargo capacity when all seats are up or its 66.5 cubic feet when all seats are folded down cargo capacity.

Apple Car Play and Android Auto also becomes a preferred infotainment system with either of these two, which may cost at around $21,625.

Now, it's high time you do your own road test and tell us about your Wagon vs Crossover experience.
