Oppo Find 9's Release Date Rumors Debunked By Reliable Sources [VIDEO]; When Is It Coming?

Rumor mills have been swirling all sorts of speculations around Oppo Find 9's release date, suggesting that the long-awaited smartphone will arrive mid next year. Amid these speculations still running rampant, a new rumor just sprung out of China --- indicating that the Find 9 will be announced in March 2017.

If this speculation proved to be true, the Find 9 would hit the store shelves nearly a couple of years after its precursor: the Find 7.

Although a shot in the dark, rumors hinting an imminent Oppo Find 9 release date stirred conversations among gadget freaks. Speculations about its release date have been doing rounds online for quite a long time now. In fact, the Find 9 is probably the most rumored smartphone that has not hit the stores yet.

Rumors alluding to a March 2017 release date for the Find 9 stemmed from a recent post on Chinese microblogging site, Weibo (via The Mobile Indian).

According to the Weibo post, it will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, contrary to previous rumors that suggested it will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC chipset. However, Oppo has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors.

Hua Qiang Bei-based analyst, Pan Jiutang, recently reported that Oppo will unveil the highly anticipated Find 9 sometime next summer as well. Furthermore, the smartphone would come equipped with the super-fast Super VOOC Fast Charging technology; this feature allows one to charge a phone in just 15 minutes.

The Find 9's release date was speculated to be in June this year. A few alleged press images for the smartphone also surfaced online earlier. More purported press renders for the smartphone was leaked online by Weibo as well.

According to a recent report, the phone will boast Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

An acclaimed Chinese mobile market analyst rubbished rumors that hint the Oppo Find 9 will be launched in Q1 2017, according to GSM Arena. This is further confirmed by an employee of Qualcomm's Chinese arm, who said its release date is not set for March next year.
