2017 BMW 5 Series With M Performance Accessories Now Available

The 2017 BMW 5 Series was presented last October and although it has not yet reached the market, the guys at BMW now presents the 5 Series with M Performance accessories. It will be available for all versions that make up the new 5 Series range and will include visual upgrades as well as power addition.

Design Changes Impressed

Designed by BMW M, the M Performance package allows us to delve into the most sporty character of the 2017 BMW 5 Series. Besides the obvious changes in terms of image, it offers numerous modifications both in terms of suspension as aerodynamically. The body kit has been developed to optimize as much as the possible aerodynamics of the 2017 BMW 5 Series.

Among other components, the kit includes parts for the front bumper and a new diffuser and rear spoiler. All pieces are made of carbon fiber. Optionally one can choose a diffuser and rear spoiler made of a polyurethane, according to BMW Blog. And to make the 2017 BMW 5 Series an even more radical model, one can add other details such as a case for mirrors in carbon fiber and the BMW M Performance grille in black color.

A new set of 20-inch alloy wheels will also be available with color Orbit Grey or in a bi-colored wrapped finish. Through these tires, it is visible the new system of sports brakes with four-piston calipers aluminum and painted in red.

Inside The M Performance 2017 BMW 5 Series

Inside of the 2017 BMW 5 Series equipped with the M Performance package, one can realize that the interior has a sporty atmosphere. Among the most obvious changes are the new steering wheel BMW M Performance Alcantara - wrapped combined with the paddle shifters to take the sports transmission eight-speed Steptronic, according to Car Scoops.

Inside the mechanical section also have some improvement. For the BMW 540i, it will allow to increase the power of its engine six - cylinder to 34 hp more leaving the final figure at 360 hp while maximum torque increases by 50 Nm to 500 Nm stand at respectively. In the case of the BMW 530d xDrive and 530d, the kit enhancement allows us to get an extra power of 27 hp diesel engine to raise the total to 292 hp. Meanwhile, the maximum torque is increased to reach 30 Nm 650 Nm.

Although all sounds fantastic, it should be noted that some of the elements mentioned above will not be available until the summer of 2017.
