With the success of the Knobbly continuation model revival by Lister Modern Company, the British racing company who gave birth to renowned racing cars popular in the 1950's, has made their mark in the rebirth of famed and iconic aerodynamically advanced racing car, the Costin.

Last 2014, Lister Modern Company first introduced their continuation model series with the revival of the racing car, Knobbly. It was received with enthusiasm by the car racing community and car enthusiasts alike. The production of the revival racing car stuck with the original iconic parts and features, but with the modern twists.

The 1959 Costin, famous for its sleek, sloping slopes and streamlines which render the car aerodynamically advanced in the racing field, is up for a revival itself. Lister Modern Company announced a Costin continuation model which is said to be more aerodynamically advanced compared to the previous model in the 1950's, according to Road and Track.

Lister Modern Company's CEO, Lawrence Whittaker, promises the public that the new revival of the Costin race car will be built with full 1959 specs. The highly collectible and historic racing car remake is made possible with the help of veteran Costin engineers in their late 80's and 90's who had hands-on experience making this racing car model way back in the 1950's.

Brian Lister's legacy will be kept alive with the revival of this attractive, aerodynamic car racer built with six-cylinder inline motor for a 337 horsepower and 95 lb.-ft. of torque and an old fashioned manual transmission. Costin revival models will launch on 2018 since Lister will start the production of the remake early next year 2017. This vintage racing car is expected to have a price range of 295,000 pounds ($364,000) which includes an FIA Historic Technical Passport used in vintage racing events and value-added tax for the track version, according to Motor 1.
