2017 Chevy Bolt Brings Home 'Green Car Of The Year' Award; Which Brand Is Next?

In the recently concluded yearly recognition for the best car, 2017 Chevy Bolts bagged the most coveted "Green Car of the Year" award.

The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt offers long-range electric driving that makes it the best among the best. While Motor Trend named 2017 Chevy Bolt as its 2017 Car of the Year as well as Car and Driver highlighted it as one of its Top 10 on the list, Green Car Journal also sees the remarkable feature of Chevy Bolt.

During the Los Angeles Auto Show conducted earlier this week, Ron Rogan proudly declared Green Car Journal's top car choice for the year due to its 238 mile driving capacity, trendy exterior look, and excellent driving force along with the technological advancement that goes with the electric car. With the features it carries 2017 Chevrolet Bolt triumphs over BMW 330e iPerformance, Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Optima and Toyota Prius Prime which are also among the top choices for the award, INHABITAT blog reported.

Having won the same award for the second year in a row, some people ask if Green Car Journal made the right choice this year.

CNN also reported that Green Car Journal's editor and publisher, Ron Rogan, said that 2017 Chevy Bolt EV depicts the era in the auto industry when change becomes a possible trend. He too added that the car itself is a breakthrough automobile in every aspect. He also highlighted that when modern electric vehicles had been introduced during the 1990s, restricted driving capacity imposes certain challenges to drivers who travel every day or regularly.

What makes 2017 Chevy Bolt promising is its affordability, which is one major consideration of the judges in giving the award among their top list. Its enormous potential help to the environment at an affordable price provided 2017 Chevy Bolt more advantage over other car companies' ardent hope to bring home the recognition this year.

Steve Majoros, the marketing director of Chevrolet Cars and Crossovers shared that towards the end of the year, 2017 Chevy Bolt will be made available the dealer showrooms.
