'Star Wars Episode 8' Spoilers: Benicio Del Torro As New Villain, Laura Dern To Stand Out

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" introduced a lot of new characters last December and "Star Wars Episode 8" seems to be doing the same. The latest "Star Wars Episode 8" Spoilers show that more characters will be added to the upcoming film as veteran stars Benicio Del Torro and Laura Dern are said to be part of the film. Del Torro is said to be the dangerous villain disguised as a hero at start and Dern to be a socialite expected to stand out for a secret role.

Benecio del Toro: Dangerous Villain In Disguise

Del Toro is confirmed to be a villain in the "Star Wars Episode 8" adding another antagonist to the likes of Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke. He will have the Classic Black Man Look but has a neat form, clean-shaven, and simple haircut similar to Poe Dameron which helped disguise himself as an ordinary cast in the film.

The heroes will not see del Toro as a bad guy, at least not at first. And multiple "Star Wars Episode 8" spoilers have mapped out most of this plot, in which Finn embarks on a mission to find out who tried to assassinate Leia at Han's funeral, according to Cinema Blend.

Laura Dern To Stand Out

Besides del Toro, Movie Pilot reported another character played by Laura Dern (Jurassic Park), which will debut in the Star Wars universe were first rumors suggested she could be Rey's mother but other "Star Wars Episode 8" Spoilers reveal that she can be Leia's old friend from the Rebellion, who we met in Marvel's Princess Leia comic.

Dern is said to be the standout character and plays as a rich socialite. Her look will be unique. Someone compared the design to a mixture of "The Hunger Games" with "Star Wars" as Dern wears a stylish dress and a pink unique hair.

"Star Wars Episode 8" will be directed by Rian Johnson and set to debut in December 2017. However, it is expected that the official title of the film and the first trailer will be revealed soon as Disney and Lucasfilm love to do it in the past where they take advantage of the momentum and interest which will follow the premiere of "Rogue One: a History of Star Wars."
