Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts, the creator and distributor of the first-person shooter video game Titanfall, has announced that after the success of the first Titanfall, "Titanfall 2" promises to be an even more exciting kind of new game.
Based on the mecha-themed Japanese anime, the new game promises to have a single-player as well as a buddy setup, which figures prominently in most classic Japanese mecha-themed anime plotlines. For those familiar with the anime themes, "Titanfall 2" will be reminiscent of such classics as Ryosuke Takahashi's Blue Comet SPT Layzner, Makoto Kobayashi's Dragon's Heaven and Gen Urobuchi's Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Travelers Today reported.
The sci-fi action game "Titanfall 2" deals with the protagonist named Jack Cooper, a trainee-pilot and member of the Frontier Militia, which is locked in a vicious battle against the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation. When his commanding officer is killed in action, Cooper suddenly finds himself thrust into ownership of the BT-7274 Atlas Titan which he has to operate, Tech Radar reported.
Through the entire campaign, players will maneuver giant Titans while battling the enemy and survive as long as they are consistently in motion. "Titanfall 2" was designed by its makers specifically to make fluid character movements and wild acrobatics while the pilot is enclosed in a fighter jet-like cockpit. Ultimately, "Titanfall 2" players will be drawn into a special relationship and become attached to the Titan B.T. Players will feel the special bond and relationship Jack Cooper has with B.T., in a surprisingly emotional setup as the game progresses.
With Titanfall 2's release, Respawn Entertainment and electronic Arts hope to put the gameplay's feel good mobility into a sprawling plat forming playground that smashes forward to offer something remarkable in a game that's endeared many players in a struggle for survival in a world filled with mechanical menace on every turn.
