Since the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. teased a possible showdown between two of the most dominating wrestlers to have ever stepped inside the squared ring, Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg, zealous wrestling fans are claiming that "The Beast Incarnate" may have finally met his match.
That being said, it's worth noting that Goldberg has been out of the ring for 12 years and squaring off against a physically similar Brock Lesnar, especially after the long hiatus will be quite challenging. Nevertheless, optimistic Goldberg fans believe he has what it takes to tame the Beast. WWE made the announcement during Monday's episode of RAW confirming that Goldberg will lock horns with former WWE World Champion Lesnar next week, Forbes reported.
The heart-stirring announcement comes just days ahead of their highly anticipated matchup at WWE's upcoming PPV (pay-per-view), Survivor Series 2016. To further add to the excitement, SmackDown's Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan will be present on RAW next Monday. WWE Survivor Series 2016 which is slated to take place in Toronto on Sunday, Nov. 20 will also feature other exciting matches including:
Team RAW vs. SmackDown Survivor Series elimination match (Men): RAW will be represented by Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, and Kevin Owens. Meanwhile, Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, and AJ Styles will represent Team SmackDown, ProWrestling reported.
Team RAW vs. SmackDown Survivor Series elimination match (Women): Representing RAW will be Nia Jax, Alicia Fox, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte. Team SmackDown will be represented by Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Nikki Bella.
Team RAW vs. SmackDown (Tag Team): Team RAW will comprise of The Shining Stars, Sheamus & Cesaro, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, Enzo Amore & Big Cass, and the fan favorite, New Day. Team SmackDown, on the other hand, will be represented by The Hype Bros, The Usos, American Alpha, Heath Slater & Rhyno, and an undecided team that will be determined in a Survivor Series elimination match.
But that's not all! Sami Zayn is slated to face "The Showoff" Dolph Ziggler for the coveted Intercontinental Championship.
