Aquaman Movie News And Update

The filming of "The Justice League," the expected delivery of the Kinematic DC Universe which brings together all superheroes, finished filming a few weeks ago and already there is another film that is about to give the go-ahead to its pre-production: "Aquaman."

Movie News Guide reported that actors Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe with director James Wan arrive shortly to the Gold Coast of Australia to start work on the film.

As now known, Momoa is responsible for interpreting the superhero that we saw as a cameo in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and we will know a little better in "Justice League Heard." Meanwhile, Mera and Dafoe will get into the skin of the Atlantean Vulko.

Aquaman Release Date

Aquaman release date may be moved earlier from July 2018 to March of the same year. Warner is studying the possibility of changing the date with The Flash as reported by CosmicBookNews.

The possible change is due to the trust by the studio at work director James Wan, who is considering the project as "grand and very important" within the movie universe DC. Another factor that contributes to "Aquaman" arriving early to theaters is that The Flash is having production problems now as their director recently quit and production may be postponed.

But long before "Aquaman" reach the theaters, "Wonder Woman," the next installment of Cinematic Universe DC will be shown and Momoa will also make a cameo here. Gal Gadot is responsible for playing Princess Diana, a horsewoman raised in Themyscira who have to leave their homeland to save the world. The film, directed by Patty Jenkins, opens in the US on June 2, 2017.
