2017 Hyundai Genesis G80 Sport To Debut Very Elegant Look At LA Auto Show

An anonymous source had just revealed to the guys at Carbuzz that the 2017 Hyundai Genesis G80 Sport is headed to the automaker’s US lineup and is set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this month. With its elegant design and 365 horsepower, the G80 sport is set to impress and can compete with the BMW M5.

The Busan Motor Show, held in South Korea, was the venue for the announcement of Genesis G80 Sport, now it will have its US debut at the LA Auto Show and it wouldn't be surprising as its simpler version, the G80 was already been unveiled in Detroit earlier this year.

In the absence of official press release, it seems that the Genesis G80 Sport will feature the same engine 3.3-liter V6 Biturbo of the Genesis G90 that can output 370 hp and 510 Nm of torque and has an acceleration of 0 to 100 km / h in just 6.2 seconds. Quad exhaust outlet will be available and everything points to incorporate a sportier suspension and an active exhaust system.

All these modifications might increase the 2017 Hyundai Genesis G80 Sports performance to about 390hp and 550 NM of torque with an acceleration of zero to 100 km/h in just six seconds as it is lighter and smaller than the G90, according to Carbuzz.

More details of the 2017 Hyundai Genesis G80 Sport are coming to light and thus know that the powerful engine will be mated to an automatic eight-speed transmission that sends power to the rear. The front has been completely redesign, debuting with it a sportier bumper, as well as a sports suspension and electronically controlled active exhaust system for monitoring the sound. Regarding the interior of Genesis G80 Sport 2017, one can expect the addition of sports seats Nappa leather, a head-up display system and a sound system 17-speaker Lexicon.

For the moment, that is all that is all the information about the 2017 Genesis G80 Sport. Whether it will be a true competitor to BMW M5, we will see in a few days at LA. our guess is that it won't be a close competitor but it could be a nice budget buy as in South Korea it's sold for only around $58,000, according to Wheels CA.
