It's Movember: Jeep Supports Movember Foundation

The Movember Foundation is a Melbourne-based multinational men's health charity. The foundation raises funds and supports breakthrough research and advancements focusing on men's health. Since 2003, the foundation has raised $710 million and funded over 1,000 projects that focus on testicular cancer, prostate cancer, suicide prevention and overall men's health awareness and lifestyle.

Every year, since 2004, the charity has also conducted Movember events, an annual event encouraging both men and women to get involved. The event aims to increase the early detection, diagnosis and effective treatments of cancer--ultimately reducing the number of deaths preventable.

NGO Advisor has ranked The Movember Foundation at the 55th spot in its 2016 Top 500 NGOs in the world, rising up from last year's 72nd spot. Some popular brands like Nascar and Electronic Arts have endorsed the movement. To date, there are over five million Mo Bris and Mo Sistas supporting the foundation and its programs.

Car manufacturer, Jeep, has a different approach to supporting the Movember Foundation. The company announced that they will be selling a big mustache accessory for Jeep vehicles, which they call the JeepStache. The big, bushy mustache will cost $49.99 and 100 percent of the proceeds for the month of November will be donated to the Foundation.

You don't have a Jeep, you say? You need not worry since the JeepStache can be installed in any car using its rubber-coated wires that thread through a car's grill. Now if you really want to own a Jeep with a mustache, it's important to point out that the company is running a contest on Twitter or Instagram. All you need to do is post a photo of your mustache with the hashtag #JeepStacheContest for a chance to win a brand new Jeep Renegade. The winning entry is the one with the most experimental, original and high-quality mustache. Entering the contest also grants you the opportunity to help the Movember Foundation. For every post with the hashtag, Jeepney will donate $1.
