2017 Toyota Yaris Hatchback Spy Photos

Although the spy photographers have had to "hunt" from a long distance and only a few quite blurred photos were published online by AutoExpress, one can say that the development of the new generation of the Toyota Yaris enters a phase that will allow it to be photographed more often in the next few weeks.

What to expect with the new 2017 Toyota Yaris Hatchback? First, although in these spy photos, one can see a Yaris excessively camouflaged, it can know that the next generation will leave its lighthearted image to adopt a new design forward with more aggressiveness and new equipment. In the front, we see a new look. It released headlights, the last grill mark and other features of the most recent releases of Toyota.

Moreover, the new Toyota Yaris 2017 will be available in two types of bodies: three and five doors. Although three-door utility sells less, the Japanese brand will continue to pursue this option. If we look at the spy photos, it also gives us the feeling that the new generation Yaris will grow in size. As a result, it will have more cabin space and luggage compartment will have a greater capacity, according to Yahoo.

And although the details about the mechanical is still a secret, a hybrid version will definitely be on the way and the new Yaris will also continue to pursue front-wheel drive.

2017 Toyota Yaris Hatchback Other Information

Inside the new Yaris, quality is expected to be improved and we could even see interior design influences from the all-new C-HR crossover, which goes on sale at the end of 2016. Toyota’s Touch 2 infotainment system could also make its way into models further down the range, as it is currently reserved for marque's higher-end cars.

Engine-wise, the next-gen Yaris could come with a small capacity naturally-aspirated petrol, to furnish the lower end of the car's price span. As is the trend in small cars at the moment, we could also see the Yaris demonstrate the use of turbocharging with an engine to rival the new 1.0-litre turbo unit that will soon make its way into the Honda Jazz. A smaller version of the 1.2T seen in the Auris family hatch would be a possibility. Plus, as it’s Toyota, there’ll undoubtedly be a hybrid model in the future.

The launch of the 2017 Toyota Yaris will take place sometime next year 2017 and may reach dealerships late 2017 or early 2018.
