Earlier this year, it had been reported that off-road oriented trucks have been one of the best-sellers in the automobile industry. In fact, the 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro has been deemed to be one of the best-performing models during the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure event. What are the specs?

The Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar showcased several off-road oriented trucks including that of the 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, which was deemed to be naturally a high-profile pickup truck.

The Improvements

With off-road specifications, the model was installed with the bones of a TRD Off Road Double Cab along with 16in wheels, stronger suspension features, better TRD cat-back exhaust system, a front skid plate that was deemed to have an oil sump access panel, mixed cosmetic, and has upgraded functional enhancements, according to Motor Trend.

Per the 1,200 customers of the vehicle, the leather seating was a plus due to its ability to change colors from hickory brown to black. Also, the interiors were deemed to be in perfect contrast with the red stitching that said customers labeled it as a classy design for an off-road vehicle.

The Competition

A recent report manifested the Tacoma was deemed to be a perfect match for the Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon because of its superior on-road refinement features. Despite the impressive similarity between the vehicles, it was deemed to be better than the rest due to its durability.

During an interview, chief engineer of Toyota, Mike Sweers, revealed that the 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro was bound for high-speed off-roading modifications that made it a perfect match against the best-selling Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, according to Cnet.

Model Price

The said 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is available for purchase for a price value of at least $41,700 for the manual option while $43,700 is lodged for its 6-speed automatic version.
