2017 Subaru BRZ Manual Transmission Is No Different Than Automatic? Specs Revealed Here! [VIDEO]

It was recently announced this year that the 2017 Subaru BRZ Manual Transmission option would be afforded to the customers of the high-performing vehicle. As the model went for a test drive, one car enthusiast manifested that the manual version is no different than the automatic one.

The brand new 2017 Subaru BRZ went for a test drive and unveiled its manual transmission was no different than its automatic version, attested one car enthusiast. As the FA engine roared to life and showed how it redeemed its four years of shame with respect to its performance level, it was described to be that one sports coupe that the world had forgotten about.

The 2017 Subaru BRZ vehicle was supposed to receive an upgrade for this year, according to Car and Driver. However, the model experienced a packaging problem that restrained its turbocharged FA engine in the nose for a car enthusiast who was driven to test the car out.

It was revealed that the 2017 Subaru BRZ heavily updated its 2.0L flat-four engine. It had a new intake and exhaust manifolds, along with cylinder heads, valves, cams, and improved its powertrain to 205 horsepower and a torque of 156lb-ft. Despite the upgrades, the tester manifested that there was no significant change. In fact, being $125 more expensive than the automatic, the car was deemed to be the same in performance and lacked options.

In other news, the Performance Package of the model would be available for purchase in the U.S. auto market, according to Car Scoops. With the GT trim and Sachs dampers that improved the vehicle's control and brake function, the stopping power and fade resistance was deemed to still make the unit a worthy purchase.

Despite the minimal improvements in powertrain and other features of the brand new 2017 Subaru BRZ manual transmission from the automatic, do you think the model is still a force to be reckoned with? Should customers buy the manual or the transmission option?
