And according to Sudbury, it will also receive exclusive body color in Machine Gray metallic with black hand - painted ceiling.

"The 2017 MX-5 RF Launch Edition preorder program was created to reward loyal Mazda customers. Watch How The 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF Roofs Fold

The Mazda MX-5 RF began production earlier this month so there are still a few months before their future owners can enjoy it. The amazing version of body hardtop based on the current generation of the roadster now shows us how complicated is the process of opening and closing the roof. Mazda solves the puzzle releasing a video that shown by X - ray vision how the multiple mechanisms that make it possible to move transformation from coupe to Cabrio .

It all starts with the push of a button on the center console, just below the climate controls. His drive upward to where the silhouette of a convertible appears, initiates a series of mechanisms to clear the roof over the heads of their occupants.

First, a gear disengages the roof window frame, then the panels forming the characteristic line of the body Fastback are slightly raised and sections being displaced towards the rear, thus leaving enough space so that the roof fold into two sections and hide behind the seats. Finally, said panels of the hard top return to their place hiding the stored roof.

This same process is reversed when one wants to return to enjoy the sports coupe mode, except that people should operate the button down silhouette of a coupe. All this happens in just a few seconds as you can see in the video below

With how awesome the 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF roof folds, car lovers are now highly anticipating its commercial launch.
