Will Rey Really Lose a Limb As Rumored In Star Wars Episode 8?

Considering the fact that millions of avid gamers desire insights into upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII sequels, the rumor mill is spinning that Rey might lose a limb in the game, according to a report by Movie Pilot

The fact, however, is that if Rey happens to lose his limbs according to speculations, then the development might change a lot of experiences and perceptions about Star Wars.

While a series of plots have been repeated in several Star Wars games, the idea of Rey sustaining serious injuries in sequels of the game will prove transforming to both Rey and gamers alike.

Daisy Ridley while speaking on the show My Dad Wrote A Porno made it clear that physical or psychological injury would make Rey susceptible to a lot of things impacting game players.

The notion that Rey would lose a hand in the upcoming series is further fueled by the fact that Ridley was seen sporting a green-screen sleeve on the set of Star Wars 8. This fact was disclosed by sources who spied on the characters while filming the games in Cork, Ireland.

Seeing a green sleeve on film characters at film locations is indicative of the fact that digital technologies would later be deployed to remove the arm or replace it with a robotic/bionic alternative. Several other movies employed this procedure, including Mad Max: Fury Road among others.

No one can really be certain of what would happen to Rey's arm until the film is out, but it might be a nice idea to imagine the protagonist wearing a weapon on his arm when the trailer debuts.

But come to think of it: is it possible to Rey not to be injured or even lose a limb in the face of his Jedi training and potential rematch with Kylo Ren?
